I made these ages ago, but I just uploaded them today. I have to thank my boyfriend for letting me use his computer across town to upload these, since uploading to ftp servers is banned where I am. If anyone went to the AMV contest at JACON this past summer, they saw these. The FLCL video got an Honorable Mention, while the Fruits Basket won the "Emo Award for Best Drama."

*On a side note, I know the title cards aren't quite centered. Ulead keeps rending them that way and I'm not sure why. I'm not that worried about it at the moment, though. At least not for something like the title cards, anyway.

Really liked the FLCL one - but thought it was slow-moving at some points. e.g. before 1 min. Just slightly too slow - panning single shots. (yes I did leave a QC 
) Nevertheless, I thought it was a great idea and perfect for FLCL.
Oooh - haven't seen Fruits Basket in a while.
Would have thought a zoom would have been good around 33 sec, for example. It doesn't need scene changes IMO because it's a romantic, laid-back vid.
1.18 - I don't think that Kyo as a 'cat' really sums up his character - maybe a brooding shot where he's walking, keeping to himself, and then changing to a cat shot. idk.
Just seeing the cute kitties didn't really sum it up. I'm sure you're saving the most dramatic moments for later, though.
2.01 - "everything's made to be broken" - since you focused on the beads, I think the shot when the sensei tears the beads off him would have been better.
...I really don't like the English voice actors.

Overall, I thought it was a good fit, but I thought it was a bit long - you can shorten the instrumental bits or other bits if you want - and also some scenes would have been more descriptive, in my opinion. Nice ending shot, but a bit weird how it pans up, and then freezes as you fade into the credits.
Also, can you put your username in the filename somewhere? Helps to organise vids I keep.
Anyway, I can tell you had fun with these vids, and they were also meaningful.
