.VOB in Sony Vegas + Sony Vegas 9 problems

Post by ZhaneX » Sat Mar 14, 2009 2:40 pm

Okay, I tried to open a .VOB file from DVD Decrypter into Sony Vegas trimmer, but when I did, I got video, but no audio.
Also, I just upgraded to Sony Vegas 9.0, and I'm having no ends of problems with it. For one, It doesn't have any tracks! And I can't find any button that says 'Add Tracks'
Anyone know what the problem is? Here's a pic of how it looks now, with a VOB file open in the trimmer, and no tracks.

you shouldn't be editing straight from the VOBs you should be using lossless avis...

Okay, but what about the lack of tracks to put the edited clips into?

have you tried right clicking and choosing "add video/audio track"?
also try just dragging a clip on to the track area and a track should magically appear for you.
