Since AWA III...so that makes it a little over five years. *Sigh*
The two-deck system was also used very extensively by Corn Pone Flicks' Matt Murray,
Hey, when did MM get started on AMVs? I know they were around long before I got interested in them...

I started in '95, though I haven't been making them anywhere near consistently since then (there was about a 4 year break in there). I got lucky, and had access to a system with Premiere and a nice capture card at my school, so I only used the 2-VCR method for about 20 seconds of footage when we were first joking about making a video.

Matt's been involved with video production for at least as long as I have, perhaps a year longer.

I don't think he's done any AMVs since his Bad Religion "Turn On The Light", using Giant Robo back in the mid-90s.

I think he's said everything he wants to with music videos, creatively.

I've been making videos for almost 3 years now. I'm out of college but decline to state my age. :P

Scott Melzer has been making AMVs for a long time. He hasn't made them for the longest amount, but he does remember some of the names of people for when he started. (He mentioned them to me once, but I forget).

I'm 26 and have been making vids since March 2001 when I first upgraded to Windows ME and discovered the joys of WMM. Such good times...
