The music is beautiful ! O_O
Thanks, Glad you liked my video creation.
OropherZero wrote:the only Ergo Proxy vid I like on the org  also the song was really really nice, I'll have to hunt the album now.
We need more Ergo Proxy videos on the org :o . Glad you liked my video.
Ingow wrote:what i liked about this was the fact that it didn't feel too much like the usual random ergo proxy action, there was at least somewhat of a story attempt behind it all and that made it a lot better than most other ergo proxy stuff i've seen (since I do agree that the show feels very very boring, even from the viewpoint of someone that hasn't seen it yet. all AMVs mostly seem to use the same scenes).
I always make amvs with a story behind it one way or another. Sometimes I do make random action videos for the hell of editing something :amv: . Anyways glad you enjoyed my video.
Sephirothishere wrote:It was pretty enjoyable, and like most ppl, i think the way u used the 3d stuff at the end wasn't good. Great mood and scene choices had it's momentos. Most of the subtle effects were nicely put, didn't really bring the vid down. But still, i think it kindda lacks that "something" to make it really good. I would give this a 8/10 :D
I also believe theres something missing, I can put my hand on it. :| . Anyways , Thanks for the rating and Glad you enjoyed the video  .

You have to be more specific. Was it the music or my editing style that was boring? PS. If it was the music, I suggest you play this in video in full blast/volume.

WOOT! Birthday Massacre! Instant bonus points :3
I liked the style of the effects you used, but the placement could have been better.
Example: having the fancy boarder thing throughout the chorus whenever it came, along with the red lightning effect.
Also i think it could have befitted from less beat sync during the slower parts of the song, then more when the song picked up. Sometimes you have to restrain the sync during slow parts of the song in order to have more impact when the heavier parts of the song comes along. Sometimes less is more, ya know?

Overall I'd say it's decent, not amazing and not amazingly bad, I'd probably give it a 3 but as i said, birthday massacre gets you a bonus point. so 4/5

Keep it up.

Ergo Proxy and Birthday Massacre? You have my attention.

I like. I like a lot. The use of color in particular. I'm going to have to watch this multiple times before I manage to make sense of all the nuance in the last minute or so, though.

I think you won Best Action at MegaCon for this... but your prizes got split by the winners who bothered to show up (all two of them), lol...

Thanks for the update meleechampion  , I appreciate that you take the time to tell me this, if you didnt tell me, I won't have known that I won something :ying: < lol

I have updated this video's information/description to say which contests it participated in.

This is a huge step for me, I started editing about a year and 7 months ago, Never thought of entering a real amv contest. I didnt think I was good enough. My first video I uploaded on the org was My Goddess[Final Fantasy]. It received negative QC's and a editor by the name of -Reda- harshly brought my video down.(Saying I copied Niotex's audio cut)(Which I in fact didnt). Niotex himself said he liked it but I knew he was just mocking me. Second video I uploaded on the org, was Karas Project[Karas], same as the first, recieved negative QC's and comments. Biggest complaints were the audio is horrible, the video sucks, your editing sucks. eh.. I continued even after these assaults... I uploaded my third amv, Looking For God[Egro Proxy], this time I did recieve praise from Kristyrat and Niotex and Withasock. But I still recieved some harsh QC's from various people. But still my spirit were raised. Now this is my fourth video Red Reflections[Ergo Proxy] recieved nothing but praise expect from 2 people(vax/mims?). Saying my video was boring. Those comments aren't bad considering the previous comments on my other videos. And now I won Best Action on the First Amv Contest I ever entered. Awesome  . Some people will say not many editors enter MegaCon. Im not sure thats true or not but I will find out which amv contest, elite Org editors enter. Once I do that, I will make my 5th video that will consist of a overused anime with a overused song and beat them in there own game(or at least make it to the Finals). |:> .

Okay, enough of me writing...

Other comments about my video are welcomed  .
