Re: Where did you see your first AMV?
It was a random download from Limewire. Somehow I thought I was getting the OP from the Legend of Zelda cartoon series, but I wasn't. I was getting an AMV using the Slayers series with the LoZ theme song (TV version) and nobody told me that. It sorta creeped me out that it didn't look even vaguely like the original games and I was a bit put off by that until a few years later, when I learned that Slayers was a different series (and a good one at that) and gained an appreciation for the silly video.
Unfortunately the download link from the org seems to be dead. If you look, you'll probably find it on the Tube.

heeheeheeheehee other than live action videos I didn't have to suffer through a linkin park amv on my virgin voyage to the amv shrine
not even dbz!! Luckily I found out about it before Cartoon Network made it really popular. My first AMV was Kevin Caldwell's Engel. Than came a mix of Cowboy Bebop amvs... but I'm pretty sure Engel popped my cherry. That was back in like the year 2000.
