retire - what editors say they'll do but eventually come back.... they always come back >:| I'm still waiting for 2012 when ErMac returns and destroys the world :O

in-jokes are bad mmkay :) it makes us all look like the elite. I've pretty much abstained from injokes now, except for the occasional calling creators by their first names thing. That's VERY hard to lay off of lol.

as for the terms I think you should add in 'movies- it's the french term for 'amvs' or clips' alternatively maybe you should define clips... well, no, it's rather self-explanitory. ripping? was ripping in there?? both in the sense of ripping off the music and ripping the dvd lol.... actually I guess their about the same thing :/

Kero, Yoko, Yuri, Nago = the names of our servers.

Also, might as well define the term "circle jerk", since that gets tossed around every so often.

We use the word "Edit" way too loosely:

The editor attempted to edit, so he edited his edit using his editor. While editing, another org editor made an edit to a comment, claiming that the editing in the other editor's amv sucked-- particularly the edits at 1:22 and 2:14. Afterwards, many editors flamed the thread, and attributed his bad editing to his choice of editor. So the editor edited his last amv with that editor, and checked out some other editors. He also checked out some other editors... to see if the editors' comments were fair. To his surprise the edit's timing at 1:22 was edited completely wrong. To learn how to edit better, the editor started editing using a different editor, and collaborated with another editor that uses the same editor. Together, they edited many edits, but never met each other until 'Iron Editor' followed by the editor's dinner at a local con. They discussed many aspects about editing, including who edits, what things they edit with, where/when/why they edit... there was even a heated discussion about lack of edit button. Then they did some more stuff that has to do with editing that I'm not going to talk about because you get the point...

/too lazy to disambiguate, and I hope I didn't make any grammar errors

please explain ALL the ways the word "Edit" was used or can be used.

I blame WMM. Obviously his editing machine needs more ram to edit better.
