What were you banned for? Hopefully something worthwhile...and by worthwhile I mean, entertaining.

I posted a picture of a pocket pussy with a slogan insulting Kionon ('guaranteed to have no dick' or something like that, I forget) and a dildo with a slogan insulting myself ('godix: because sometimes you really need a dick'). Who knew that was ban worthy? No where in the rules does it say 'No pictures of sex toys'. I mean we can upload pictures of panty shots. We can upload pictures of underage girls in playboy like poses provided the naughty bits are blurred. We can brag and link to videos who's entire point is 'look at those boobies bounce!' We can have avatars flipping off, well, everyone. We can use the word 'fuck' right in a topic. But a pocket pussy and dildo, that's going to far. Perhaps my mistake was making it a real pocket pussy and dildo. If I had went through some hentai and grabbed a screencap of them perhaps everything would have been cool.

The funny thing was that earlier that same night I was talking to one of the admins and commented that I believe the org community has gone just plain mean so being an asshole should be a banning offense. Who could have known the admins actually listen to me sometimes?

Granted, I'm not really arguing with the ban or anything, just random pointless musings like I usually do. Me getting banned is like a politician going to jail, the surprising thing isn't that it happens but how much I get away with before it happens. It probably didn't help that my reaction was 'Well damn, if I knew I would get banned for it I would have used pics of a real pussy and dick' and the mods/admins know me well enough to know that's my reaction.

To be honest, I stopped posting in here because I agree with godix, the place had gotten simply boring. Still is boring. Likely will be boring tomorrow.

If I knew of an anime forum I could both relate to, and post to without feeling like my comments weren't being cast in to an ocean from an eye dropper, I might lose interest in the AMV forums altogether. I even regard the place (here, a-m-v.org) as a download site, not a 'forum' site in my bookmarks sorting.

90% of what I post to a forum community is chat, and only 10% tends to be relevant to the site's primary focus. That being because you can only discuss a highly focused topic so much before you begin repeating yourself. Example, what program do you use to edit? Oh like that's going to be fresh
