So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

Hmmm... good question.
...thinking...
Actually I think most of them were made in 2-3 weeks. ... and some were done in just a few days... or less than 10 hours even!
The funny thing is that I am betting people couldn't guess those that took a long time from those made in only 1-3 days....
Usually what makes me spend more time on a video is not an effect (since they are a lot of fun to do so I work through them at a quick pace), but the length of the song.

Well let me take a wild stab in the dark. Was Sould of rage and sorrow one of your longer vids to make?

My longest? Well, I haven't made it yet. It's still in progress. I started my current video project around the end of last month, and I estimate to be done around February. Usually I finish a video in 1-3 weeks, so this is already the longest I've spent on a video so far.
But my project isn't half so crazy as my sister's. Sierra Lorna expects to take at least another year on the one she's making. I can see why. Her project is, simply put, pretty insane.

"Not another One!" took around 50 hours start to finish, due to the lip-synching, and if you look closely you can see in the last scene I worked on ("We've always done our own cheers") the point where I just said Fuck It and went on with it... I'll probably remaster that someday...

This probably doesn't say much....
Well, my first "AMV" was nothing more than a week of screwing around in Premiere with Evangelion footage and a Weird Al Song trying to figure out how everything worked. Since I downloaded Premiere 6 off Kazaa, I had to figure it out through trial and error. Lots of error.
My first full AMV (the one in my .org profile) was a solid month of editing. I'd say my best estimate was around 150-200 hours.
