Combat Mission: Shock Force, L4D and Jutland. Have tried to get back into the old X-Com games on Steam, that I adored the hell out of 12 years ago and played obsessively, but right now they're just too old and ugly/jerky for me to properly enjoy. It makes me feel sad about being such a jaded bastard :(
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

F.E.A.R. 2 PC SP Demo

I'm impressed =|
It even made me jump out of my chair once. Which hasn't happened to me in years, so that should tell you more then enough.

Valkyria Chronicles.

I'm really enjoying it, but then again I like JRPGs and strategy games.

Maw on XBLA. It's kind of simple... but entirely cute.

I took some screens with fraps earlier so I figured I'd up those.

Warning-Contains some gore I guess..

;3 People should know by now that I'm a huge F.E.A.R. fan..

I'm playing at 1680x1050 Native Fullscreen with everything on and set to Max. FSAA X4, Texture Filtering X16 Anisotropic etc etc. At a steady 60fps with absolutely no hangs or dips. I haven't tried running it without Vsync [limits max fps to 60] so I don't know how much more I can crunch out of it. That being said I grind my teeth at the sight of screen tearing, so I think I'll settle for that 60fps kthnx.

I saw my card crunching between a 55 and 85% load while playing. So I'm sure with some of the stuff tuned down people will be able to enjoy this on some of the older and/or midrange GPU's. If you have a CrossFire or SLI setup then it'll defiantly take advantage of it. CPU takes a slight beating during checkpoints but aside from that it doesn't seem to take up more then ~2.8 Ghz in total. That being said it is multi core optimized, but seeing the very reasonable load I'm sure you could run it off a decent single core.

All in all I'm fucking stoked about this game as this demo has blown away most if not all my expectations. I highly recommend that people check out the demo, be it on XBL,PSN or Steam. I also recommend good headphones and preferably a dark room.

Even I nearly jumped out of my chair once while playing ;]
