If you are refering to the following:The Non-Professional wrote:SHIT!!!!!!, man im not having a good day, i dont know how to do those last few parts in the rules section since im such a fscking newb, which f'ing guide can i read which does sound like technical jargan and sounds like english so i can know how to do that stuff.
Then this is all part of the export process. Just make sure you are editing your video at 24 FPS, and if you aren't, just de-interlace at the end. Other than that, just make sure your compressor is huffYUV (be nice to the good people your giving the footage too!) and your res is set to 640x480.The rules wrote:Segments must be submitted @ 640x480@24fps. The easiest way to do this is to set Premiere up with Timebase:24, Timecode:24 & Framerate:24. You can also use other ways, like AVISynth's AssumeFPS(24) or virtualdub to alter the framerate of your source clips. It's up to you, so long as it looks synched up @ 24fps.
Segments must be submitted in either huffYUV or XVID w/ 1-pass Quality @ %100. You can use whatever codecs you want while editing, so long as the final project doesn't look shitty.
To Dannywilson: this is going to be really interesting if you get half the video in crap fansub quality with subtitles on the bottum and half in perfect "ErMaC proud" quality. What format will the final export be in?
Oh, and one other thing, since most source has a res of 720x480, would like us to just cut the ends off, or are we scrunching it all up?
