Happy New Year's & How Do Y'all Feel About Gospel In AMVs?
We all were blessed to make it to another year so happy new year's everyone!! On a different topic my 21st AMV I'm going to put on an indirect or direct link later so to those of you who gave me yours names don't worry it's still going to be up, but I'm going to do something else first. There's another AMV I plan to upload and post a thread about in the AMV Announcements either today or tomorrow when I get time. It's my 20th AMV and most personal favorite AMV I've made and it has a gospel song by Marvin Sapp called Never Would Have Made It, it's the most powerful gospel song these ears have heard. The animes I used for it came from the DragonBall trilogy and it's based on Goku's life and how his grandpa affected him, this AMV was dedicated to my late grandpa who died earlier last year. I was wondering how many people here on the org watch, know, or even care about gospel in AMVs, cause I've only seen two excluding mine and only one of them was decent. Depending on the answers and how many are interested I'll post it in the AMV Announcements when the download's ready so I can get feedback on it.

I've never seen a gospel AMV, but I guess it would be cool to see one. And I know that song, cause my bus driver plays it all the time
. Using DBZ to it would be kind of odd though. Idk but your concept seems cool. I'de definitely download it when/if you release it.

I've seen only one gospel video and loved it, but it was done extremely well. If you can't get the mood and emotion of it, it will fall flat on its face. And I wonder about just how much relevant footage there is in DBZ.

Just as there are little to no Black Metal AMVs, there are little to no Gospel AMVs. In other words, it is a rarity and I would check it out just for the novelty factor.

I seen quite a few Micheal W Smith (Christian Contemporary...) AMVs... oddly. I actually want to make one myself :/
Christian Rock had it's day thanks mainly to one Silver Moon (who also made the Micheal W Smith AMV), so it's not like we'd all be totaly averse to religion in amv. Heck Dead to the World is almost strictly anti-religion... and gay
Idunno I didn't get more than 2 minutes in and was like 'this shit is gay...', there's a TON of Shonen ai (gay) too so why not?? You just HAVE to have thick skin and be prepared for all the
Than again the general public's answer may surprise you! America is a (pretty much) Christian (more lost...) nation. Don't expect to send it to any euro conventions though
or heck, any conventions at all... unless the religious overtones aren't too blatent.
