I have read the rules and consciously decided to post this link here anyway, as mixtapes are generally considered it to be public domain. But if it breaks org rules, so be it -- my apologies!

I generally don't care if people use my stuff, because to release something on the internet is for that to happen. I think it's funny when people steal music and footage and make a video and then say "HEY DON'T STEAL MY VIDEO." What we do is illegal, but we are remix artists, and our work is derivative work. So it doesn't bother me for somebody to make a derivative work out of my derivative work.

Now if I create an original video by animating my own footage or composing my own song, then I might be a little more concerned with massive stealing of it. But again, to release it is to have it stolen, so I look at it as free press for my works I even have some original work planned that I intend to sell on DVD, but since I support the remix culture, I will have no problem with people making amv's with it. In fact I might even hold an amv contest using my work as source But you'll have to wait a few years before that's anywhere near done :/

Except that when somebody makes narutopark-xtreme 5000 using WotB footage, people won't assume the creator animated naruto himself. They will assume however, that he made the effects himself.
