I was looking into doing a video for The Offspring's new song Hammerhead and I haven't been able to find any sources interesting enough to use. I'm actually hoping to make a multi-sourced video for this one. I was wondering if anybody knew of any good anime sources for the following elements.

War, Soldiers at war, the likes.
Maybe some first-person shooting(anime) or running.
School shootings or disasters at school. Kids, teachers hiding behinds desks, guns, explosions.

I have had a hard time finding osme of these. Especially the last one. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Full Metal Alchemist has war, though maybe not in the traditional sense. I believe Pumpkin Scissors does (I still haven't gotten around to actually watching it, though.)

There's a couple school explosions in Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu. One is in the very first episode, in like the first 5 minutes, so tracking the DVD down will be a bit easier.
Depending on how good you are at creating suspension of disbelief, there's Bleach (with a fight that can't be seen, and kids hiding behind desks), Hale & Guu (Jungle Wa Itsumo Halle Nocchi Guu) but this one may be too crazy for your purposes. I seem to recall Tsukihime having one in the next to last episode. And I think F/SN had a couple as well, but none of these are actual explosions, most of them are magic powered, with huge magic blasts.

Higurashi no naku koro ni ep 26 Rena takes the school hostage.
Higurashi no naku koro ni kai ep 5 you see like the aftermath of something horrible in a school and everybody's dead, ep 13 has the people locked up in the school actually getting killed and stuff but I'm not sure if it's the kind of killing you're looking for.
Kyou Kara Maou has a lot of war. They are always trying to stop some war but the flashbacks of the bad wars are the best, I don't remember any specific eps though and it's long. I'll post again if I can think of specifics.
