AMV TS/Vent?

Post by NeoQuixotic » Fri Dec 19, 2008 7:52 pm

I was wondering, has anyone ever tried making a TeamSpeak or Ventrillo server for AMV related stuff. Kinda like how there is the IRC channel, but sometimes talking is just easier. Yeah, I know there is Skype, but a TS or Vent server just makes it simpler for people to come and leave and be in separate channels.

I'm currently messing around with a server on my own network and would like to see if anyone can connect to it. Also, I want to see how it works running on my own connection. PM me if you want the connection info.

I CONCUR

SKYPE SUCKS

I don't know of an AMV-related ventrilo per se, but a number of us use a ventrilo server that is run by an RDS member. We use it mainly for gaming though...AND WE LIKE IT.

Vent is stupid because I have to press a button to talk and then I get tabbed out of DotA.

If you tab out of a game, then your push to talk button = fail.

lolwut?

I don't press a single button to talk. I turn that off and set the sensitivity and then whenever I talk above a certain volume, it transmits. Easy.

there's a check box to mute the sound and the mic on the main window...
