Uh, you would want Vegas to maintain the aspect ratio, and use pan/crop to crop off the full screen one to wide screen or you can crop off the two wide screens to full screen O.o

Stretching the two sources to match is what causes a lot of the "aspect ratio problems", instead you should cut off the footage's edges so that they all match.

Usually what I do before going in and doing things in Vegas, is to export all my clips out to the same aspect ratio: this means cropping and resizing them (VIA Avisynth/Virtualdub Mod) until they all match and so they all have the same exact height and width then set up Vegas according to the clips i have created...

With Something Fishy I cropped all my wide screen sources to match the full screen ones, with Pretty Sparkles Remixed I cropped all of the full screen ones to wide screen, so really choosing the AR really depends on what you want to do, however it should be done in prep work that way Vegas has no chance of "messing it up for you."

as it is now, with the information you are giving me, I'm not sure how to fix the problem... O.o

I always unify the sources in DubMod before I cut in Vegas.

Saves lots of time and is more safe.

I hate having to crop anything because the video quality degrades as the video zooms in as a result. But I'm also picky about leaving as much of the picture in as possible. I didn't know you could fix it in VDM, though. I'll have to look into this when AMV Salad 3 goes into post-production...

Cropping =/= zooming in. When you crop, it shouldn't lose any quality, only a part of the screen.

Yeah, the quality is awesome in it.
Glad i finally figured out how to get the file to work ^^;

Update: Received multiple betas and finals and some tracks are now marked as complete.

Important: Since i had 2 issues with this already, anyone doing a track or signing up needs to be sure that they can make something Christmas, holiday or winter themed.
To see some examples, you should check out the previous Holiday MEP.

Hmmm... My piece uses Christmas music, but it isn't wintry or Christmas themed. It's more like another vid I did with Nutcracker music:

Let me know if that will work, or if I should try something else. :)

Bleh, working on the first 20 seconds of my vid, which require lip sync. That's a pain, but after that, it should be smooth sailing. I'm not sure when Beta deadlines are due, but I'll send you one when the beginning is more complete?

Oh, and nevermind the 'damn' thing, I found a way around that. ;)
