Frame Rate Issues

Post by Ultimatetransfan » Sat Nov 29, 2008 12:00 pm

I recently made a project in premiere pro, at 30fps. I also imported a video file which is 30fps. The problem is, that even though the frame rates are the same, the frames don't seem to line up right in the project.

As you can see, the edges of each frame, don't line up with the frames of the project.

Is there any way to fix this so that both the project and the footage are completely lined up?

The little images dont represent frames, they are just thumbnails and it tries to fit as many as possible at the current zoom level. If you zoom in and out farther, you will see that they move position.

I'm aware that the size of these frames is relative to the zoom, but as you can see in the thumbnail, it's zoomed in as far as it can possibly go.

Is there really no way to get them completely even?

Nope, the separation of the thumbnails is completely separate from individual frames.
