I don't really see why.

This is an english speaking site with english speaking people. Why do we need guides in French/German/Russian etc?

Not all Americans speak English and not all of the English (speakers) are in America :/

I don't think the fact that the site is in English only should be seen as a feature. If someone wants to translate the guides, great! I'll even figure out how to configure Apache to serve them in the proper language...

English is spoken 'cause it's the most widespread language on the world, but the org is meant to be a worldwide open catalog for amvs and as such having the site translated also in the other main languages would only make sense.

Actually, by native speakers, English is now #3 or #4. You're correct by total speakers, and I suspect even more correct if you limit it to the Internet population, or the AMV community.

But the real reason this site is in English is because Phade speaks English.
