Does AviSynth work with Premiere CS4?

Does AviSynth work with Premiere CS4?

Hi all,

My question is pretty simple - is there a way to get Premiere CS4 to work with AviSynth? I've been following along with the AVTechBeta guide, and I have all my DVDs ripped, indexed, and scripted...but Premiere won't import any of my .avs files. The reason I ask is, it looks like the AviSynth plugin worked fine with CS3 (at least, according to Google :sweat: )...so, why not CS4?

If it helps, I'm using Windows Vista, and the beta version of the AMVapp. In addition, I installed the AviSynth plugin to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\CS4

The avisynth plugin doesn't work anymore in Premiere Pro CS4, you'll have to make fake avis with VFAPI as told here.
