That's another thing though, whenever I do edit, I enjoy it still.DriftRoot wrote:I can't believe I'm saying this...on the other hand, maybe I can get away with saying it because I'm the one saying it.
The way I look at, if you have no desire to do something you feel should be a pleasurable hobby, then why force yourself to do it? Is it really such a great loss?
Life's too short to spend a lot of time fussing over or pining for what *should* make you happy...
What I'm trying to find out, to be more specific, is what I should edit for?
Or what I could do to actually finish an amv, seeing as how I still enjoy it, yet can't come around finishing much of anything.
However, you're right in the moving on with what makes me happy
I've had a gf for close to 3months, which is when this lack in motivation started.
I could possibly use her as motivation, but nothing seems to live up to her or how I feel about her, or what not.
I guess I'm also in the need of making editing more enjoyable.
All these suggestions are good, other than the eating curved fruit one =/
I don't hate bananas, there just not for me

Someone also pointed something out that stuck out for me
Sure, I'm only 15, but what if that part of me that loved it when I close to 13, is dying?Kevmaster wrote:It means that you've finally grown up.
As for editor's block, I believe there really IS one.
This goes for anything that has or involves a creative outlet.
Directors, authors, editors, or even artists (whose solution is often weed) get it
Saying there isn't one, is like saying there isn't (going into a religious perspective now) a Devil.
Nullifying the idea of a God
weed.....
