Re: I Need What You Call Motivation
I somehow felt the same way in the last months.
Don´t worry about such things. Just do it when you feel like it. =D
Indeed. I´m just in gameing right now and my hard disc is full that´s why I don´t edit right now. It´s clear for me that I´m just too lazy now. That´s all.Kionon wrote:There is no such thing as a lack of motivation or "editor's block." There is only lazy and less lazy. Be less lazy. |:

Re: I Need What You Call Motivation
Every download, every QC and every OP makes me motivated to make something new.
Yeah, it's that dumb.

Re: I Need What You Call Motivation
I can't believe I'm saying this...on the other hand, maybe I can get away with saying it because I'm the one saying it.
The way I look at, if you have no desire to do something you feel should be a pleasurable hobby, then why force yourself to do it? Is it really such a great loss?
Life's too short to spend a lot of time fussing over or pining for what *should* make you happy. If it does, it does; if it doesn't, it doesn't. Obviously not everyone makes AMVs because it's a fun hobby, but if that's your major justification for making them and the fun is just not there anymore, then move on. Think of all the other fun things you could be doing instead like eating curved yellow fruit with frozen flavored ice-milk and heated cocoa sludge!

Re: I Need What You Call Motivation
I call bullshit on that. I look at amvs the same way I look at art or writing, there is definitely such a thing as "editor's block" or lack of motivation. To say otherwise is really just asinine.Kionon wrote:There is no such thing as a lack of motivation or "editor's block." There is only lazy and less lazy. Be less lazy. |:
