it's all about who the audience was originally intended for, and who is in control of the production...

as for the word filter though http://www.youtube.com will link/fwd to our search engine, and thus "blocks" people from attempting to spam us with the site. this post has more information on the issue with it..

if your source never gets approved, you can always link it in the "about me" part of your profile or link it in your signature (using a free file host maybe?)

Well, that's why we don’t have a large committee deal with this (with all the diverse opinion, we'd be debating longer then the Senate does )

So I'm the sap who makes the decision...

I try to be fair to all sources and not open the doors the having tons of animated MVs taking up bandwidth and out of the scope of what this site is... SO I'll look at it this weekend and make a decision. As the rules put it, anything that might be on the line of being anime or not, or in controversy gets treated on a case by case basis...

It was just for a small margin so I thought it was not a problem. Well, it's been removed already anyway.

It goes like this, with the org being hacked last week it was hard to do anything and hence there was no updating made to it and as the servers had to be rebuild, I pretty sure the sweep for non-anime video was done. That is reality and how it goes.

On terms of a decision, I have watched the opening and find it's used in quite a few AMVs. Although the game is of Korean origin, it looks like the Promo is more in the form of promoting it like anime and hence has merit . Some people think accepting this means accepting a lot of other stuff animation as anime, however it has always been mentioned that stuff like this WOULD be looked at on a case by case basis. Robotech Shadow Wars are an example)

I've asked the other adms and mods on their opinion and get mixed results as well, so I will accept the Yogurting Promo only as anime. Since the entry into the DB is under Yogurting (Game) and there is no way in some cases to know if the 24 entries used the game or promo, who ever wants to update or use the promo will have to make a new entry called Yogurting (promo) and I'll confirm that as anime.

But I've noticed the Video and Audio sections on my video's options are greyed out, which means I can't update my video's anime or music. Is this because of the current state of the site or did my video pass any time restraints? What should I do?
