i was happy to see higher voter turnout. everyone was in good spirits at the polling booth. it was surprising to see my state (CT) turn even more blue - no republican congressmen, second confirmed blue state. it was also interesting to find out who my ultra-liberal academia friends are. drunk.

So I was watching Obama give his speech. Now it was obviously written out ahead of time and suddenly it occurred to me, who the hell taught that uppity nigger to read? Christ, next thing you know they'll be wanting to sit at the front of the bus. I think my grandfather was right, nothing good came from giving them the vote.
