Ok, just wondering, I heard of a Tenchi Muyo 3rd OAV but I've learned that "Tenchi Muyo GXP" comes from the same OAV Storyline.

Is Tenchi Muyo GXP the 3rd OAV or are they splitting again? Also, is GXP a TV series or not?

The quality from what I've seen so far resembles OAV...

GXP is a TV series. I think it belong to the OAV continuity, but has none of the characters from the main series.

GXP is a TV series, but it is not OVA 3. It is OVA continuity though. It happens 1 year after the end of OVA 2. It does not star any of the original Tenchi characters, but the episode coming up next week will have them all in it when Seina goes to earth and visits the Masaki house.

I've been collecting the RAW episodes. I've fansubbed the first 2 episodes myself, and I released episode 1 publically if you wanna see it. It should still be downloadable from http://www.tenament.com/garylisk/downgxp.htm
ANyway, episode 16 aired last night, and episode 17 next week on Tuesday (Technically Wednesday morning since it comes on at 1am) - and that's the Masaki house episode

So far the series is damn good, by the way.. and there's a new cabbit! That's the important part

And yes, suicide is the only way out.

PS OVA 3 is coming next year... They said production starts towards the very end of this year and the beginning of next year. Let's hope for a Summer 2003 release, or even sooner

PSS - No north american liscense has been announced for GXP, but I would be shocked if Pioneer didn't get it.

Thanks for the link I can't wait to watch it!!! I was trying to sing along with the begining of steel angel karumi hehe my tongue went this way and that. It must take incredible patience to translate this stuff.

The next episode of GXP (Episode 17) is titled "Seina and Tenchi". It features all the characters. Seina, Tenchi, Ryoko, Ayeka, Ryo-Ohki, Washu, Mihoshi, Yosho, Noboyuki, etc.. as well as a new character.

I wonder if this new character will play any part in OVA3. Hmmm.

Check http://www.tenchi-web.com/ten/movie.html and watch the very last movie listed at the bottom of that page. That was the "Next episode" preview from episode 16. As you can see, episode 17 is gonna be ULTRA FUN.

I hope to subtitle it and release it so all the Tenchi fans out there can have a taste of good old fashioned Tenchi goodness.

And yeah, I've never seen a comment like that in any other fansub either
