I'll have the list of finalists posted as soon as I can get my main computer hooked up. I dragged all my computers to the convention to run events and after sleeping for 12 hours I'm just now unpacking. If you've ever helped with a con before you know what I'm talking about.
I do have the list of winners ready, just found the papers with the 1000+ ballots while unpacking, and I will post them in a new thread. I should post some of the artwork people drew on them while we where seating... some funny stuff.. even found some artwork by Howard Tayler who draws the online comic Schlock Mercenary (He had a booth).

Finalists this year where VERY close, how we decide finalists is by vote, I have about 15 preliminary judges rate each video on a 1-10 scale, enter the data in a spreadsheet and sort by highest average across all categories while maintaining at least 7 AMVs for each. Some AMV's didn't make the cut by 0.2 points, that's how close it was.
There where a lot of AMV's that I thought where con worthy that didn't make the finalists, because we are a 2 day con I didn't have the schedule time for an overflow panel. I plan on posting them as honorable mentions on the winners thread.
