[Help] Audio Problem on After Effects.

Post by [Mike of the Desert] » Fri Oct 24, 2008 7:25 am

Hi guys, I'm here to ask some help.. ;(
I tried to plan an AMV using some really Good HD footage,
but AE 6.5 can't read it, so I began using CS3.

But here it is, with a plain new project problems are just starting. :(
The video goes on 23,976 fps on a 1280x720 frame size.
Same goes for the WAV music (CS3 doesn't read Mp3s).

-------

The problem is:
When I go on previewing the composition, the audio starts after 1-2 seconds. Even if the Waveform clearly goes up at 00:00:01, the sound does not "appear" if not after some seconds.

After Effects also often crash because of a mysterious "AE_OpenGL" error.
Can this be the cause? Is there any other motivation that I didn't consider?
Is there any way to fix this error?

Sorry for the not really technician english I'm writing, and thanks a lot for your help.

Maybe your computer is having problems rendering previews using OpenGL. Try changing this setting to Adaptive Resolution. The toggle should be on the bottom of the preview window. I have AE 6.5 so I don't know where it is exactly in CS3 but I know its there.
