Are ANY video games allowed? Or is this restricted to just Japanese RPG FMVs? Like can you use stuff from a non-Japanese game?

Since we do this contest with the Japan Expo, all the contests need to be japanese-oriented/asian-oriented. Your video do not need to be made exclusively from japanese material, but a part of your materials has to be japanese, or even asian.

So, we can't accept an amv only made from Simpson footage for example, But if you mix it with some japanese footage, it works.

About the music rule, actually I'm slightly confused.

I'm under the impression there will be 2 songs made available. Do we have to specify exactly which one we want to use? And as for remixing the sources, does that mean that it didn't matter whether or not we picked a song to begin with?

We will give you 2 audio mix and the sources from these mix.

You can use one of these 2 mix to edit. It is you choice.
But, if you want to do your own mix, you can. But, you must use the given sources. Its duration must be at least 4 minutes and use at least 3 of the given songs.

During the last IC, some people were not very happy to have to mix their music. So this time, we decided to give 2 mix if you do not want to do your own.

Do not worry. When you will download the music, there will be a file with all the explanations you need (well, I hope...^^) with all the means to contact me during this WE.
