Seriously. As an Alaskan, do you think she's any good? I'm asking not as a member of any type of political party, but I'm asking as somebody that really didn't want his own govenor to be in Washington (Mike Huckabee). What's the "real" opinion of an Alaskan of Sarah Palin?

x2

The only thing I could say is that she's better than Murkowski. But then again I'm not the kind of person who pays attention to politics, so I all I can do is echo what somebody else have already said when it comes to a topic like this.

It's only one opinion, but fellow org'er and democrat DannyWilson told me personally that within Alaska she's fairly well-liked (i.e. high approval rating) and even as a democrat, he didn't mind her.

True, but anyone is better than Murkowski. Palin was a standup lady from what I knew of her. I even voted for her, and attended her inauguration. I was disappointed she accepted the VP. I thought she had more dignity than that. She gained this air of arrogance afterward.

Yeah, it just shows how much I know about the Governor and stuff. I haven't even voted since I turned 18, not because I don't care, but mostly due to the fact that I'm too lazy to register. Even if I did register, I'd probably just vote for whomever my friends/family are voting for. But I guess that's better than nothing.

It seems she has a deviantart account, and there's a bunch of Sarah Palin stuff on deviantart. More than I expected, anyways.

Ah I see then. :O

I remembered when Mike Huckabee (our last govenor in Arkansas) was running for the presidency, and I'm pretty sure the entire state started hyperventalating. Keep in mind, he's not a bad man, he's just a tad insane about health and education. Seriously, when he was in office, we were miserable. >_> Now that we've got Bebee in office, things are much better. I was just wondering if Alaskans were feeling the same way about Palin.
