It's been ten years. I hardly think retirement is any time soon.

a good time to quit is when you lose that inspiration of why you decided to make an amv in the first place. I'm assuming that would be the primary fact that him/her enjoyed editing a video and entertaining yourself themselves with it.

I'm never going to quit. AMVs ushered me into my career choice. I'm always going to be an editor, so amvs will be recreation in my downtime when the inspiration hits me. :) God only knows when that downtime will be, though!

"Quiting" is just stupid, if you don't feel like editing, then don't edit, but there's always the possibility that one day you suddenly feel like editing again. And then the fact that you "quit" makes you stay away from it.

Put your own status "on hold" and you'll be fine :)
