-AaronAMV: That link helped a lot, thank you!
-76: ^^
-Vivaldi: I tried the pre-rendering thing and it worked! At first....The first time I played with the pre-rending, it showed me the transitions in their entirety, but when I tried to watch them for a second time, they went back to doing what they did in the beginning. :(

I dled Gspot and it says that it's a DivX codec.

I've used "Media Coder" in the past to convert music files...What container and what codec do you PERSONALLY recommend for the best quality without breaking your HD?
(Plus any other info that you can give to help me out would be fantastic! ;3 ).

There's the problem. Look up at AaronAmv's post. (The giant text is a link.)

You need to convert to a lossless codec like Lagarith or HuffyYuv to use in editing programs like Vegas.
Everything came from nothing, therefore everything is nothing.

There's nothing to worry about.

An avi container, with lagirith lossless codec (which I'm sure someone will kindly provide the link to)

About the prerender thing, it uses your RAM to render it, so if you make a change or watch a different spot or change programs or something, you'll have to redo it. Depending on your RAM, it's usually still the quickest method to just rerender every time you want to see it.

This?
http://lags.leetcode.net/codec.html

Okay...now how do I use it? What program do I need? I've been using this:
http://mediacoder.sourceforge.net/index.htm

But I don't believe there is a way to get the Lagarith codec in that program...? (please correct me if I'm wrong!)

Your help is very much appreciated! <3

find lagarith.inf, right click it and select install
if you can't find the inf file, just right click the files you got from downloading lagarith until you see an install option

after lagarith is installed it should be available in all programs that can encode video

most people here use virtualdub or virtualdubmod
