So how do you guys do it?

i make an amv whenever i feel inspired by a certain song and series, then when i have free time and am in the mood i make the amv. i never force myself to make one and never set a deadline or anything as that makes it less enjoyable.

And yeah, lack of life helps.
At the moment, I basically go to work, play TF2/Pangya and edit.

Before I graduated college in June, having no life + work at home jobs allowed me to have tons of time to edit.

When you edit 12 hours a day for a living and have a one hour commute home, it kinda kills your drive...

lol the more "boring" my job is the more creative energy and ideas i tend to get.
Being a fast editor I can spit out vids pretty fast when i'm in the editing mood.

oh but I gotta say not having to do house work (other than feed my kitty and do a few loads of washing a week) saves an amazing amount of time.... that's why I actually pay a cleaner to clean my house for me. What takes me 8 hours a week she does in 1 hour *shrugs* so it gives me more spare time. some people think it's lazy but meh I believe that wasted time is wasted life... life is for living not for cleaning.
And then I go and waste all that time I saved watching/making amvs T_T ok I have no life either.

Oh I think I save time because I´m not that much often on on instant messangers or chats in general.

Um ... I only spend like 3 hours a week max editing, so it doesn't take up a huge chunk of my time. Plus moving to a new town with only a few friends and going to college (DAMN YOU HOMEWORK!) pretty much kills my social life ... miss my old town.

I edit when feeling I can do something. If I'm not inspired enough, I simply don't do it. About the time, it depens of the mood (even if it's about editing all night), but usually I work more on my videos the weekend. The rest of the week, between clases and work, I can't even turn on the computer.

Well, usually I have many new ideas floating around in my head for new AMVs, when I do not have a project (like now) work to strengthen those ideas.

On the other question ... I enjoy much editing, is my greatest Hoobie, he spent 5 hours at night! ^ ^
