A question about the FPS, 29's fine with me but I'm curious, If your footage is FILM or you've removed interlacing from it, it should be 24 FPS, and almost all fansubs and raws are 24 FPS aswell, so what would be the reason to convert to 29.97? It seems that would just needlessly put in blended frames.

Code: Select all
changefps(29.97)
I obviously suggest to use it on your source and not on your edited video, though.

I know how to change it, it was more of a question of why, since if you get your footage properly it should be 24 in the first place. 29.97 Just seems extraneous.mirkosp wrote:Vivaldi wrote:A question about the FPS, 29's fine with me but I'm curious, If your footage is FILM or you've removed interlacing from it, it should be 24 FPS, and almost all fansubs and raws are 24 FPS aswell, so what would be the reason to convert to 29.97? Animation will look fluid anyway. Oh, if you use it to decrease fps, it'll drop a frame every x. So there, unless your souce is already blended, you won't have problems.Code: Select all

@Gotenks: I don't think I could have been any clearer. O-o Zip up or rar up your files upload them to somewhere like sendspace or megaupload and then pm it to me.
