yay! thank you. But i got a quick question. Some of my animes have subs. So is that okay if they appear at times or will i need to crop it out???

personally when im judging i'd take less points off for AR than for subs

well you gotta consider that fansubs also tend to be bad quality, don't know yet, not having seen his source. And I'd treat AR and subs equally, since both are easy to fix up.

....I'll allow it if necessary. But let me be completely honest. If you have subs and bad video quality, that's roughly ten percent of your video's points down the drain. I don't know how the other judges will react, however, let it be known that I personally am not going to give good scores for bad quality and subtitles. So for the sake of your tech score, i'd crop them if I were you.

2) I have checked my RAWs and DVDs and I found out I have 15 series (or parts of them, in three cases) which I can use. Not counting all softsubs.
Also cleared PC and have 10GB which should be mostly fine for 30s-1min clips.
Seems space and sources won't be problem, yay! \o/

EDIT2:
3) You can (almost) always crop the subs out and resize it, it will affect quality, but in much lesser way than leaving them there ^^
