Doing a project for school (And need a little help)

So yah, I need your help. Nothing drastic, but the project i'm doing is a video on the history of music and how it's evolving..due on monday. what I'm hoping you guys can help me with is links to ANY music performances. any kind of music from any era re-enacted or live. links to any of these with a brief description of what it is I'm being linked to (who the artist or composer is, roughly what year, genre...just general information). Thanks to anybody who can help me out.

Guy, I already was gonna go to youtube, but I would like it if my footage in the video didn't look like crap yakno? I'll prolly look at what orwell linked me, but I'm not havin' much luck with videos so it'll prolly end up just being a slideshow with music in the background.
