Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni

So, while I was wandering around Amazon and RightStuf looking for any deals I might want to take advantage of, I ran across this little bit of information. Apparently, the R1 releases of Higurashi are finally going to start up again. Both sites currently have the fourth installment set to release on September 30. See here and here.

Dunno if this is old news or not, but it makes me happy inside.

LivingFlame: I read part of the Umineko no Naku Koro ni manga, and if the show is even vaguely similar to it, then it'll be good.

Wheee. I love this show. Got a good laugh out of reading your descriptions of the episodes. (Until I skipped here after reading episode 13, because it's the end of my favorite arch and I got bored.)

I wish I could find a DVD of it somewhere. Or that I had money to buy said DVD if I were to find it.

Just watched the end of the fourth episode... Aka first arc "Spirited Away By the Demon."
This show is way F***ed up. I've never watched anything like this before.
