Drowning in Your Mom's Pool...MEP!

Post by ::+::VOLKSVAGON::+:: » Sun Sep 14, 2008 6:43 pm

[NOTE: BANNER WILL BE MADE SOON, TIME PERMITTING.]

Hello there, people :)

I found my old Drowning Pool files hanging around in the recesses of my computer, and I decided to mix them all together thinking they would sound cool for an MEP. Thus, the concept of an MEP with Drowning Pool was born. These tracks all come from their album "Sinner".

=====================
RULES:
1. Your track must have five seconds of blank screen before and after the video, for easy editing purposes.
2. Your track must be wide-screen! If it isn't 848x480, MAKE IT THAT WAY.
3. No noobs allowed in this MEP. Noobdom will be determined by your level of obnoxiousness and level of poorly-done-effect-whoring/sketchy-timing.
5. No intentional, harmful discrimination!
6. No kingdom hearts, naruto, dbz, extraneous hentai, or pokemon/yu-gi-oh/digimon. NONE.
7. DON'T FORGET! HIGH-QUALITY FOOTAGE IS IMPORTANT!
8. Frame rate = 29.97fps
9. THERE IS NO LIMIT ON HOW VIOLENT YOUR TRACK CAN BE! SERISOULY! ROCK OUT!
10. Any questions, feel free to ask.
11. If an editor has already taken the track you're interested but you think you can do better than them, go ahead and try! If you are interested in tracks but aren't sure you'll be able to edit them, just tell me you're interested. I'll put you there :)

If I think of anything else, I'll update it.

First off, if there are a lot of fullscreen sources in this MEP, that's a big no no.:nono:
Second, lol.

Hey! Nice mix.

I'm kind of interested in the first track. :O

Although I'm swamped with other tracks in other MEP's, so if you can be patient until I finish all of those, I might seriously consider joining up. I'd like to see more interest in this before I actually dedicated time to this, so let's see how things go. :O

Now a serious comment.
I really like the mix. Good job on it. If I'm not busy, maybe I'll pick one later on. :)

As a reply to your first comment, I understand that. I'll see what people choose for video sources. If it's a real issue, I'll delete that rule.

@Chrono:
I understand. I'd be willing to wait, seeing as this MEP just started and doesn't have a due date yet. It needs editors, so...that will probably take a while in and of itself.

lol, I don't think you're very qualified to run a mep. Not only that, but we wouldn't want you going all suicidal in the middle of the mep thus leaving it with no coordinator.
