9/11 Tribute AMV
I only know a few songs that deal with that day and to my the one that sticks out is Where Were You- Alan Jackson I think it would be nice to have a very serious AMV tribute to this date with this song and a couple others.
I admit I'm not the greatest creator and I'm basically a rookie that needs some help but if anyone out there is willing to help me along It would be much appreciated in creating a what I can see being great amv. Full of Simple truths straight from the heart.
Please let me know if you would like to join me on this or if you have some song/video suggestions all are welcome.

Well, the dates already been missed, so are you planning for a release next year?
Also, there actually is an unusually high number of people here who like to laugh at mass death and orphans and all that stuff. If you want to make a serious mep, you better get used to ignoring that type of thing real quick.

it's been 7 years, yah.. It was a tragedy, but god damn I am fucking tired of hearing about it. Plus, Kev is German, so even if we were all sensitive about the issue and shit, He still wouldn't be :O.
P.S. We're not laughing so much at the event as we are the pictures that go along with it, that one sucks, but there are some others.

I also plan to ignore all those sick people who laugh at this sort of thing and I will be telling them all to please take it else where
Its been over 60 years since ww2 yet we still celebrate rememberance day. its been hundreds of years since pioneers landed. hundreds of more since saint christopher gave the first gift at christmas thousands since jesus died? Whats your point? Its an Icon moment in the history of the world and its most powerful nation. Scars like these are still fresh in our minds and will contniue to be remembered for many years. Making fun of it just shows your childish hateful nature and I don't appreaciate it here. If you don't have something nice to say. don't say it. <---- a rule people teach childrenNerdStrudel wrote:it's been 7 years, yah.. Why are you so tired of hearing about it? Its a sad day its a slap to the face of a nation that woke them up and united them (if only breifly) are you fucking tired of all those firemen and police and medical people who died that day? Who sacraficed their lives to help people? Well you just remember that the next time you want their help in any fashion okay.
Here's what I find to be the sad part.... I'm Canadian. And I have more of a sense of respect then most for another nations tragedy then most people in that nation.
So again please if your going to be disrespectful post it some where else

Why do you care about however many people died in that "tragedy" of yours when thousands of people die around the world every day, especially in poor countries?
I was going to elaborate on this more but it's pointless really, "the death of one is a tragedy, the death of a million is just a statistic".
I'll never get you people.
Either way, I can't possibly see anything good coming out of a MEP like this until more crashing-planes-on-buildings animes start coming out, so yeah..

Ya no offense but if you really want to tribute to 9/11... Your better off just working on a solo short amv by yourself. An MEP to this kind of thing is a bit confound. Not really MEP material for anime.
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

While I do agree with Eva, I still appreciate you showing your appreciation to those that have died.
You fail... Who said he doesn't care about those that have died all around the world? He made a mep based on 9/11 because it's around that time. Quit jumping to conclusions. Why do you care about however many people died in that "tragedy" of yours when thousands of people die around the world every day, especially in poor countries?

I think its a nice ideal but im not sure how you could do a tribute to 9/11 with AMVs.

But I was going to add.
There aren't alot of Tsunami tribute songs. Or Darphur songs Or Katrina Or 16 year old who got shot in the head for throwing eggs at cars. Songs. If you know of any I might do some maybe. But there isn't alot of footage of the tsunami or Darphur while it was happening its all aftermath so I can't really put that in there I can get 9/11 pictures and video all over the place.
I think I agree with those that are saying this should be a solo project though i would still like some help as the ideas I have I don't have some of the anime's I'm thinking of putting into this. Not sure yet as I haven't started it I'm going to let it fester in my head for a week and see how things look after if I have a long drawn out plan or not. So any help would still be welcome.
Like what is a GOOD editor under 50 bucks? I have a UK editor that kinda pisses me off T.T so i want to use a different one
