Voices of a Distant Star is straight interlaced footage. Don't use telecide and decimate. Instead use a plugin such as TFM() and edit at 29.97 fps.

Thanks, l'll do that.

I have a new question regarding another project.

Say l make the resolution or size 848/480 for uploading purposes here and want to give it to a con, should l edit it 720/480 and then resize? or 848 then resize?

It says that 720/480 is recommended to use 29.97 and 23.97 is acceptable for 640/480.

I've used telecide alot so which filter is a good alternative?

Thanks.

Would using telecide and then AssumeFPS(29.97) work also? l'm just trying to get clarification on what fps l should edit with.
