Been around since 2004 and i have to say that the only video iv seen motion graphics the way they are know was in the latest reflections of style metros section.
So question... and since ive been disconected from the AMV scene, are there any AMVs involving serious motion graphics like these for example:

sorry for the utube link, you can tell in the video the usage of illustrator files and AE
so any chance of AMVs with this style, i can only remember a few.
Any motion graphics around

1) It's being worked on.
2) It's also been done before, just maybe not in the way that you're expecting it to look.
The reason Metro's video stood out as motion graphics was because it was using still images (manga). This has been going on for years and years in the MAD community. But it's also been in the AMV community for a long while as well. I could also point you to Metro's other very popular video, True Fiction. While granted it's not the kind of motion graphics shown in the show reel you linked, it still motion graphics nonetheless. And I'm sure others can link to several other examples.

thanks brad
well if anyone knows of more AMVs with this style plz link
yes this is usually the main prob, motion graphics are usually hardous so its easier to take the quickest shorcut which is just linear editing ( cut here paste there fix song and good clip selection) at least thats what i understand by linear editing.Mr Pilkington wrote:I've toyed with this idea in a few videos. But the projects always get overshadowed by H-videos and other nonsense that I can I can crap out much faster.
