That was insane. The craziest episode of all.Where should I start?
Spoiler :
- V.V killed Marianne to save Charles from her seduction.1st hit...For 25+21 episodes,Lelouch has believed that Charles is responsible for her death...
- Marianne was cooperating with Charles concerning Ragnarok.2nd hit...So,Lelouch was a jerk for trying to avenge his mother against his "evil father".
- Ragnarok was about creating a world where there are no lies,no hatred,no pain.To do that C.C was needed. And to find her,a was between Japan and Britannia had to start.Ok,seriously now,Charles and Marianne had to do all this stuff just to get C.C out of her hideout? Come on.Gimme a better excuse...
- However, according to them,Charles and Marianne were thinking about Lelouch and Nunnally. They only wanted the best for them and that's why they rendered Nunnaly blind and with kinetic problems(she didn't get that due to Marianne's assasination). They cared so much that they abandoned them in Japan and didn't act when their life was in danger.Woo,talking about parents' love....
- As it was expected,Lelouch got pissed and killed them both by using Double Eye Geass.Suzaku, the master of "which side am I with again?" switched again sides and decided to help Lelouch as their thoughts about Ragnarok were the same...
- C.C didn't die though she was part of the plan. And why?Because at the end she realised that Charles was making Ragnarok for his own good and not for a better world."To die or not to die?" is always pondering inside her head...
- The ultimate finale.Emperor Lelouch and Suzaku Knight of Zero. One hell of a combo that saved the day...
Mind-blowing episode.Awaiting the last 3 eps where Scneizel will be the main protagonist as it seems.
I somehow don't think Lelouch is going to survive the series. The theme of lying was meant to end with this episode but right at the end of the episode, Lulu had to rely on 'lies' again to get what he wanted (lies = using geass) think that was why C.C wasn't happy. I don't see how geass can continue in the series with the ideas presented in this episode so therefore I conclude that Lelouch is going to die in the last ep and people are going to boycott the ending =|
Maybe it was just eclipse's subs, but they made it sound like Nunally still lives. Since HD h.264 kills my comp, was that just the translation?
I wish the reconcile between Lelouch and Suzuka had more... feeling in it. They've been so opposed to each for so long, it would have been far more interesting to see, than most of the Marianne bit.
It's hard to say R2 is better than R1, just because it's the same plot. If there was a real break in it, maybe. Also, I wish Lelouch aged.
