I tried to upgrade the plugin to 1.91 instead of using the one in AMVApp, perhaps that is my issue.

No dice. I get the feeling I should have installed a Windows Premiere before installing AMVApp, although why it would make a difference, I do not know. Also, Premiere doesn't see any of my codecs, but Vdubmod does.

hmmm... could just be an incompatibility with premiere and crossover :\ I'm pretty sure I had it working on ubuntu/wine... i'll have to check when i get moved in and have the time to boot it up.

For me it is a minor issue. I am fine using huffy clips. I don't edit with AVS, I just use it as in intermediate anyhow, so I have things set up as I need them. I also have 750GBs of storage, so I am not worried about running out of space either. I had been working with uncompressed.mov so this is a definite improvement.

Still, it'd be nice to give the people what they want.

I was wondering if anything like vfapi would be possible. It's just the biggest space saver for me and I like the way it runs in editing programs

I don't know anything about it, but can't hurt to check into.

I'm still new with it, but from what I understand of it. It acts as a sort of bridge between the d2v and vob files to the editing program. You still use avisynth with it. So you dont have to edit with Huffyuv or Lagarith. It's in the amvApp 3.0 beta.

PPCs continue to be an issue, but it looks like there are several good combinations for intel-based macs.

I haven't given up on PPCs yet though.
