I haven't been inspired my many people but I have had the opposite of inspired happen. There's been videos I've gotten halfway done then said 'well crap, that looks too much like (insert name here) did it. Fuck it, delete'. By that standard Otohiko, doki, and FC have been my anti-inspiration.

OTOH there are times when the entire point was ripping off and making a mockery of someone elses idea. I'd have to say Sailor Earth was the biggest inspiration I've had in that respect.

Flux with the intense anger videos, I don't know anyone so far that does them better and nostromo with mood sync, awesome style and songs I like.

I can't remember the first FF vid I saw. Yuna's Killing All The Pain and if I remember correctly AtomX's Make Me Bad were one of the first one's, but they weren't. Can't really remember the song or where I got it from. Trying to remember it is gonna bug me all day now :/

it may sound retarded, but I kinda inspire myself, I make what I want to see, my editing was a choice that I wanted to do something, not because someone else did it first... however there are editors that go on to amaze me and one day I hope to be "good like them".

Yep... I think that list about sums up the editors who have managed to create AMVs that I aspire to create not only once, but multiple times. Their videos have acted as the inspirational point for me, and I'll have them to thank when I create the best damn AMV the world has ever seen.
