I'm new here, this is a video I finished recently. I used chroma keyer for most of my masking so parts of this look somewhat messy. I wanted to share it though. ^^

It is the Promise of America that at anytime, anytime, we feel that the way the country is going is in a direction we do not approve of, we can, together, come forward and CHANGE it. When we are UNIFIED, when we are working together, that is when we are most powerful. That is when we fulfill the PROMISES made by our parents and grandparents and the generations that came before. That is also when we try to meet the PROMISES we make for our children, and our children's children.

In that way, your video is like America, full of PROMISE, but over the last eight years, that PROMISE has been denied. So full of POTENTIAL, but wrought with POOR LEADERSHIP. Shall we reward the previous actions of that leadership by granting it four more years of control? No. No, that is not the CHANGE your video needs. So, I propose, working together, since this is about YOU, the EDITOR, and not me, the NOMINEE OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY FOR THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, I humbly offer these suggestions:

1) The country is at an impasse, where our reliance on Naruto as the means to fuel our creative endeavors has made us borrow money from China to pay for the footage from an unstable part of the production industry, which helps destroy the artistic world on which we live. All of this needs to CHANGE. So, I cannot, in good conscience, agree with JOHN MCCAIN when he tells you, the EDITOR, that it is okay to continue drilling for Naruto footage to make an AMV. Perhaps, temporarily, this can continue, but it is a mere BANDAID, and ONLY ENDING OUR RELIANCE ON NARUTO AS A FOOTAGE SOURCE CAN MAKE US ARTISTICALLY INDEPENDENT.

2) Our shared heritage is one that comes from STORIES. STORIES about who we are, where we come from, and the messages they contain are integral parts of the PROMISE of AMERICA. As such, we have a DUTY, a CIVIC OBLIGATION, to make sure that the STORIES we produce are coherent, and tell us about OURSELVES and our place in HISTORY. The Republicans would like you to BELIEVE that you can continue the STORIES of the past, without adding your own UNIQUENESS to your video. I DENY this. America is about ADDING TO THE FABRIC, and your video, much like GEORGE W BUSH'S policies, have FAILED to add the FABRIC OF AMERICA and the overarching AMV LANDSCAPE. Policies that have RUINED America, and STUNTED the growth of your video, just like they have STUNTED the growth of the MIDDLE CLASS. Policies which JOHN MCCAIN would like to see CONTINUED. You have an OBLIGATION to show ORIGINALITY for the good of the COMMUNITY. So will you be like JOHN MCCAIN and sign on to the PAST? Or will you STAND UP with me, with your fellow CREATORS, and declare that ORIGINALITY is important, and "YES WE CAN!"?

3) We come in at a time, a DEFINING MOMENT, where the choices we make can have an IMPACT on the state of the RESOURCES within our SOCIETY. More and more, as we see the DEVASTATING effects of overusing such natural resources as the OVERLAY, the LENSFLARE, and the endangered KEWPTANGLE. The effectiveness of these resources depends on their use in MODERATION. Unfortunately, your video, the one so full of PROMISE and POTENTIAL, is a perfect representative sample of how we are SQUANDERING our resources, much like how the CURRENT ADMINISTRATION has already squandered them for EIGHT LONG YEARS. Now I ask you, can you look down deep into yourself, and come together with all of those around you to help CONSERVE and PROTECT our most cherished natural resources by NOT OVERUSING them? Yes, it is true, that the COMMUNITY must do more to place RESTRICTIONS that help limit our ability to use so many of these resources that they become ineffective, but it is OUR TIME, OUR RESPONSIBILITY, to STEP UP and declare INDIVIDUALLY that WE SHALL NOT SQUANDER EFFECTS BY OVERUSING THEM IN OUR VIDEOS!

My fellow Americans, my fellow Creators, let us think long and hard about the CHOICES we must make in this TRYING TIME. Let us not SQUANDER the opportunities to BUILD a COMMUNITY where ALL can enjoy the FRUIT OF ONE'S LABORS and ITS ROLE in the PROMISE of AMERICA. We have done better, we CAN do better, WE WILL DO BETTER!

It's my first Naruto AMV. More of an experiment than anything else, eh? ^^; My next will likely be Moonphase or Utawarerumono, those aren't too overused.
