I'd heartily second that- when I went through the discs and took notes, I just put down video number...Janzki wrote:Would it be possible to add an entry number column to the nomination lists? Now they're sorted by name which makes voting hard for me at least.

Yeah, it it really hard to decipher that list because we need to play a match game to sort it out when most people go through the disks in order and make rankings.

Well, in the past I got a mix of complaints. Some liked the numbers, others kept track by video name. I left the numbers off this year and only just now realized I forgot to post the 'cheat sheet' on the forums and linked from the page. Sorry. It's available at http://www.awa-vat.org/docs/pro2008.pdf

That definitely helps, but having both the name and the number would make the most sense, that way irrelevant of which way people kept track of it will have what they need, and there's plenty of space on the page (on the voting site) for another column...kholaras wrote:Well, in the past I got a mix of complaints. But even if people use name rather than number, it would make sense to have order on the disk so that if you remember the video titles "insert name" was on disk 2 for instance, you can mostly go and find it based on approximation. Having the titles is nice, but that is no reason to have them sorted by name exclusively.
I honestly often remember a vid more from source and the order it is in that sheet is really, really hard to differentiate.
the cheat sheet is helpful, but it is still going to be an annoyance to parse through which video is where now.

Nope. Video #69 is an Avatar video....outlawed wrote:I did not enter .. yet again (4 years in a row w00t).
I have not seen the discs but I will make one comment. If video #69 was not one of the hentai entries then the contest coordinators have utterly failed ^_^
