Greyed Out Confusion

Okay So I've got both Adobe Premiere CS3 and Adobe Photoshop CS3 and I want to export a small part of a video from Premiere to Photoshop in order to use the pen tool. But...when I go to do so, it's greyed out on the menu.

More or less I'm having a huge difficultly getting vido from Premiere to Photoshop to edit it and cannot seem to re-render the video back into Premiere.

If that makes any sense...yeah. Help please...?

While exporting out of Premiere, you're sure the timeline is the active window, correct? (Yes, it actually does make a difference.)

I believe so yes. It's got the yellow line/box thing around it. =/

exporting frame? or video?
I dont use CS premiere but if I'm cutting something up in PS I export a frame not footage.
/note this could also be me not understand what you're trying to do...

And it won't let you click 'File' > 'Export' > 'Frame'?

You'll have to export each frame individually.

Wait, you're telling me I need to export the frames I fixed in photoshop...frame by frame...?

I can just re-render it back into a video?
