Songs that speak of rising up from a stressful life
Hello. I'm thinking up some ideas for a video, but don't know a lot of songs that relate to stress relief and rising above all trials and tribulations. What songs out there matches this mood?

"Take the Time" by Dream Theater.
Just let me catch my breath...
I've heard the promises
I've seen the mistakes
I've had my fair share of tough breaks
I need a new voice, a new law, a new way
Take the time, reevaluate
It's time to pick up the pieces,
Go back to square one
I think it's time for a change
There is something that I feel
To be something that is real
I feel the heat within my mind
And craft new changes with my eyes
Giving freely wandering promises
A place with decisions I'll fashion
I won't waste another breath
You can feel the waves coming on
(It's time to take the time)
Let them destroy you or carry you on
(It's time to take the time)
You're fighting the weight of the world
But no one can save you this time
Close your eyes
You can find all you need in your mind
The unbroken spirit
Obscured and disquiet
Finds clearness this trial demands
And at the end of this day sighs an anxious relief
For the fortune lies still in his hands
If there's pensive fear,
a wasted year
A man must learn to cope
If his obsession's real,
Suppression that he feels
must turn to hope
Life is no more assuring than love
(It's time to take the time)
There are no answers from voices above
(It's time to take the time)
You're fighting the weight of the world
And no one can save you this time
Close your eyes
You can find all you need in your mind
I close my eyes
And feel the water rise around me
Drown the bead of time
Let my senses fall away
I can see much clearer now,
I'm blind
Find all you need in your mind
If you take the time
It is 8 minutes though. Might need some editing.

M.S.D. - Face The Grey
And so begins this journey,
Although the path is closed.
Clouded by dark and doubt begins this day.
And so begins the struggle.
Accept the challenge, although
The odds are far too great to overcome.
I leave sorrow far behind.
I cast all fear into the wind.
Though shadow pain endures,
I lift my feet and carry on.
For on this black sunrise,
I will not be afraid.
As darkness fills the sky,
I shall not turn away.
I'll stand and face the grey...
I have suffered fire,
And battled through the gale.
The strain of war shows on my weathered face.
Battered, cracked, and weary,
Clenched fists with calloused hands.
But I will know death before I taste failure.
I gather strength from blood,
Dismiss my weakness and push forward.
Resist defeat, hold strong,
I lift my head and carry on.
For on this black sunrise,
I will not be afraid.
As darkness fills the sky,
I shall not turn away.
I'll stand, and I'll face the grey.
With a defiant breath,
I'll rise up from my knees,
Wipe the sweat and the blood from my eyes,
And I'll carry on.
For on this black sunrise,
I will not be afraid.
As darkness fills the sky,
I shall not turn away.
With a defiant breath,
I'll rise up from my knees,
Wipe the sweat and the blood from my eyes,
And I'll face the grey...

Not really sure if this is exactly what you're looking for but I'll throw it to the mix.
I always thought of this song as "the new self" talking to "the old self", though maybe this is more about depression than stress or whatever.
"Flicker"
by Ayria
I know you're suffering
I'd like to change your fate
But I sense a lack of trust in me
I'll give you everything
I give the weak man strength
Eliminate what makes you weak
Do you want to know where the wind blows?
Do you feel the same when the winds change?
The story of your life
Never get it right
Sleepless through the night
I will be there
Spending all your time
Defending what is right
While afraid to take a side, I won't be there
Here we are again
Thought you knew everything
If you could only see the world through me
I take the rich man's greed then knock him down to me
To fill his eyes with what he is
The weakest of your kind, you're crippled and so blind
Flickering then dying, I am not there
I never thought you'd do the things you said you would
You always wanted more than this small life could give
Immortalized you, God-sized you, live forever
Now you've achieved it all and no one wants to compare
Immortalized and God-sized
Flickering like a star
