The movie went through the original comic very carefully and removed almost every bit of depth or thought in it. You've just managed to go through the movie and remove anything of any worth that managed to survive that process. It's odd to see several hundred pages of in depth thought provoking story about anarchism, fascism, rebellion, what government abuses do to individuals, and how those who embrace violence to overthrow a dictatorship aren't the same people who should rebuild once they've won has been boiled down to 4:34 of 'this fight scene looks cool, don't it?'

There is a reason Alan Moore refuses to add his name to movies made from his works. As much as I'm looking forward to Watchmen... I know there is no way a film could encompass the depth of the graphic novel. That being said... when the V movie came out... many of my friends picked up the graphic novel... and with just the Watchman trailer I watched my company's sales of the graphic novel spike. Maybe people should look at it more like really expensive advertising.
I'm not rich... I just plan on dying before I retire.

Despite a total disinterest in ever getting around to seeing that movie, I have to say that I enjoyed this video.

Sorry if it didn't have enough invert flashes and other cheesy/useless effects like your videos. I'll keep that in mind for next time.

Indeed. Read the comic first though.

I've read the comic, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Ditto with the movie. I wasn't trying to do something with depth and meaning, I was trying to make something that would be entertaining to watch in the few minutes you would be watching it. I'll try and make it more political for you next time.
