HERE, yes, it's much more fancy and actually has effects, yea... But I can't figure ANYTHING out! I've been sitting for an hour trying to figure out how to separate a track, how to fade in, HOW TO DO ANYTHING for that matter. I'm not slow so I don't need a long explanation. But can somebody kind enough simply explain to me the very basics. Don't direct me to some tutorial please. Just very quickly point some buttons out. Please?

Adobe Premiere CS3 Basics COMPLICATED?
Call me a noob, I don't care. But I've been using Adobe Premiere 3 where everything was so simple. With a click of a button on the display screen, you can split whatever track was highlighted, by right clicking a track, you can fade in/fade out. There was this extra window where everything was regulated (you click on the button and it's the start of the zoom in/rotate/all the other simple things and then you click it again and that's the time period in between it goes from whatever you started at to whatever you set it to). It was simple and amazing.

Maybe somebody could also explain how to regulate effects and stuff cause all I saw was that you highlight the beginning or end.. and then it automatically sets the time and speed/intensity of the effect. And ... it's incredibly complicated, I dunno... It's very depressing. I never had this much trouble with anything. Photoshop, for example, I'm really good with and I learned myself but this... this is something...

Once you get used to keyframes, you'll be able to do anything. Just yesterday I killed a yak. WITH MIND BULLETS!
