The far more significant figure in my life is that I've been in school for 18 years straight now

(and you can get a pretty clear idea of how old I am from that)

Also, someone enlighten me on this "dependency" thing in Canada. I had the distinct impression that there is something similar here. At least my parents have still had to sign off on financial assistance for school, and I always get the retarded "expected parental contribution" on all forms and it pisses me off like no tomorrow. So much for supporting independent young students, geez.
