I guess it's been too long since I watched it. I could've sworn Samurai X referred to the OVAs. But oh well, I'm sure you're right and I'm not, lol.

It would probably be accurate to say that. I looked into it and the official Japanese title for the main series is Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan, but there are some countries such as Brazil, Germany, and some other flags icons whose countries I don't know that call the main series Samurai X. Not that I suppose any of it really matters because most people probably knew what you meant anyway.
