SPOILER ALERT wrote:My complaints for the film is first of all, the movie is way way too long. To tell you in honest truth, the Two-Face story feels like it belongs in a different movie. Another complaint that I have is that the ending just downright sucks! I honestly didn't get why Batman is now a fugitive because Gordan says, "He's a Hero, and that's why we have to hunt him." And besides, the ending just dragged on and on like a dead cat. It's probably one of the most un-climatic superhero endings.

Magic trick was great.
Spoiler :
I also enjoyed the whole bank robbery sequence. "I'm suppose to kill the bus driver." "What bus driver?" SMACK

Uhh, I thought that made sense. He was taking the fall for Harvey so that Harvey wouldn't be tainted and thus all his convictions and good work nullified. They even outright say that prior to Batman leaving. There's nothing confusing about it.

And I was a little upset Two-Face died. I would have liked to have seen him in another movie. Kinda ironic though. O.o
Spoiler :
We actually don't know that he died. In fact, I'm fairly sure he's not and in Arkham. Batman survived the fall (even got up just fine) and it wasn't that far of a drop. I imagine Harvey survived as well and it's being covered up. Comic book characters never die.
Overall I REALLY enjoyed it. I'd be willing to say it's my favorite Comic Movie of all time (and I'm a HUGE comic book nerd). The pacing was just awesome and the WHOLE movie is tense (no slowdowns at all).

Next time they'll use him as a marionette.

Anyone have a pencil?

Anyways, I agree, Christian Bale just sounds like he's suffering from lung cancer whenever he talks as Batman.

As for villains, The Joker was my favorite, so as of right now, I have no preference on who's in the next movie. Although, I would like to have some original characters come back again, kind of like what they did with Batman Begins.

My favorite moment:
Spoiler :
When Joker walks out of the hopsital and the explosions stop, he turns around and looks frustrated and starts hitting the remote till it all begins again.
This movie confirmed for me that Joker is the greatest batman villian EVER.

I just want my phone call.

Agreed. I don't think anyone can really top Heath Ledger's performance in this one. Downright morbid. Most of the time I just forgot it was him since the Joker's character seems so...un-Heath-like.
Spoiler :
On the other hand...I thought the Two-face part of the story was cool, but I was totally expecting the movie to end there (similar to how Batman Begins ended with a mysterious introduction to the Joker). I was kinda hoping that'd be a sign for another film, though daniel could be right in that his death is a coverup :O
Point in the film where I knew the action was going to be kick-ass: the magic trick >__>

Anyone else think that Katie Holmes made a much better Rachel Dawes than Maggie Gyllenhaal?

Awesome movie.

Now it's time to hype up The Dark Knight Returns and The Watchmen.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that Serv0 is a harebrained dickweed who can't even grasp the basic idea of a movie.

Finally someone mentioned the best part. Yeah The Dark Knight was a bad ass film, dare I say it's in the running for the best comic book movie... so far. The trailer for Watchmen (no 'The'... just 'Watchmen')... fooking awesome. When I realized what I was seeing... yeah... I need new pants... it was so damn secksie.
I'm not rich... I just plan on dying before I retire.

Well keep in mind, I am a big comic book fan and Two-Face/Harvey is my favorite Bat-villain and thus I am a bit biased :P. At the same time, I totally agree and my only (minor) complaint was how they handled Harvey. They got some of it right, but a lot of it they just glanced over. The reason Harvey is interesting is b/c he's *conflicted*. He's not just out for revenge or believes purely in luck. Half of his is legitimately good and still believes in 'the good fight' and thus the coin (to make decisions). I wish they would've had Aaron Eckhart talk to himself or argue with two separate voices. That'd be more accurate imo since I thought they made him a little too one-sided.

...and yes, I hope he's alive for a sequel.
